During the weekend of October 6-8, students and chaperones from around Virginia will gather at Eagle Eyrie for CBFVA’s Fall Retreat. During this time students will worship together, engage in fellowship together and take part in breakout sessions centered on the theme of Beloved Community.
Students will be challenged to examine and identify the communities to which they belong and wrestle with how these communities are or can be beloved. We will wrestle with questions like: How do the communities you belong to build you up? How do these communities support you and engage you? What are your responsibilities in building beloved community? And how do you invite others into your beloved community?
We will also have time to hang out, play games, eat around tables and build s’mores around the campfire. For more information about this youth retreat please visit our website (www.cbfva.org) or contact Mark Snipes at email@example.com.
