On March 26, CBFVA engaged Dr. Dan Bagby, long-time professor of Pastoral Counseling, to resource clergy through two different sessions:  1) Providing Pastoral Care During COVID-19, and 2) Clergy Self-Care During a Pandemic. We recorded the presentation portion of the sessions, and they are available here along with handouts for each session. Feel free to share!

During the sessions, Dr. Bagby mentioned several other handouts he can make available to clergy during this crisis. Click on the links below to access.

SESSION 1

CBFVA Is Here to Help during the PandemicWe give thanks for clergy who provide effective leadership to congregations during this season of uncertainty, anxiety, and fear. We see God moving in powerful ways through committed and gifted leaders during this crisis. We give thanks to God for the ways clergy cross Virginia allay fears, inspire hope, and serve. Pray for your pastors during difficult days, and continue to support your local congregation in this season of forced distancing.
