Scholarship Application 2025 CBFVA Scholarship Apply now for the 2025 CBFVA Scholarship Step 1 of 4 25% This application is for individuals who are applying to or currently enrolled in a graduate-level, accredited first (e.g. M.Div., M.A.) or advanced (e.g. D.Min., Th.D., PhD.) degree program in theological studies in preparation for ordained or lay ministry in Baptist congregations. Applications are now being received and considered for the 2025-26 academic year. The application requires submission of contact information for two professional, academic or personal references as well as a personal statement of purpose. It is recommended that you prepare the personal statement in advance of filling out the application form. Recipients of CBF’s Vestal and CBFVA Scholarships awarded by partner schools are not eligible for this scholarship. Scholarships are limited and are reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis.
