Coordinator
Mark Snipes
Mark Snipes was born and raised in the small town of Rockmart, Georgia in the North Georgia mountains. A graduate of the McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia, Mark worked in local church ministry for seven years before becoming Missions Coordinator for Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia in October 2013. In October of 2022, Mark transitioned to the role of Coordinator! This new role encompasses communication, connecting congregations, ministering to ministers, and a whole host of other important tasks.

Laura Davis is a native of Sperryville, Virginia, and has spent her life living and serving in Virginia and North Carolina. She now calls Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley home. She earned both her Master of Divinity and doctoral degrees from Campbell University Divinity School. Throughout her ministry, Laura has been actively involved in missions at the congregational, regional, and state levels, serving in a variety of volunteer and leadership roles.In her current role, Laura focuses on advancing CBFVA’s mission through its three pillars of advocacy, education, and partnership. She especially enjoys connecting with CBFVA congregations and supporting clergy and laity as they discern and participate in God’s work in their communities and beyond.

Event Support Coordinator
Amy Mofield
Amy Mofield grew up in Lexington, North Carolina. She is a graduate of the University of Richmond. Amy has worked most of her career in the banking and financial realm but has always had a love for event planning. As the spouse of a Baptist pastor for more than 30 years, she has a great deal of experience working with local churches. Amy enjoys being able to work with Virginia congregations to help plan and carry out the mission of CBFVA.
