We are excited to welcome Jim Somerville, Senior Pastor at Richmond’s First Baptist Church as our speaker.
When Jim Somerville was starting out in ministry he thought his job was to preach the kind of sermons that would bring people down the aisle to make a first-time profession of faith in Christ, to join the church, or to rededicate their lives. Since then he has changed his mind about what sermons are supposed to “do.” Join us for this year’s Pastor’s School as Jim engages us in conversation about preaching that changes the world.
