Mission Engagement: Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia Partnership with Puerto Rico

Continuing the Journey:Ongoing Project Work  and Church Partnership Development in Puerto Rico

 Goals:
– Work alongside churches in Puerto Rico in community ministry: such as children’s ministry and senior adult ministry
– Cultivate relationships with churches in Puerto Rico to identify opportunities for collaborative partnerships.

Ministry Partners: CBF of Florida and the Caribbean Islands, CBFVA

Need: 8-10 volunteers from CBFVA

Join our team! We need people with a heart for partnership to connect with churches in Puerto Rico. The work we will be doing will be largely based on community ministry and on the gifts and skills of the mission team. 

Approximate Budget*:
$450             Flight
$550             In Country Expenses including housing, meals, transportation
$500             Funds toward projects/Miscellaneous expenses
1500 Total

Travel Insurance Recommended
*Transportation to and from the Richmond airport and souvenirs will be an additional cost. 

Payment Schedule:
Deposit June 1, 2026 $100
First Installment July 25 $ (estimated cost of airline tickets)
Final Installment October 15 $

Preparation Requirements:
– A commitment to prayer and preparation

– Attend planning meetings
– Secure Real ID or Passport
– Vaccinations per CDC guidelines
