Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Virginia

Position: Minister to Families and Youth (FT)

Walnut Grove Baptist Church seeks a part-time Minister to Families and Youth to assist the pastor with supporting and innovating youth and children’s ministries. A heart for youth and their families, creative thinking, experience with these age groups, and equipping volunteers for team leadership are essential to fulfilling this position. First Baptist Church of Dalton, GA

Position: Minister to Youth (FT)

Administer, develop, and implement youth ministries and programs designed to meet the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the youth at the Church and in the community.

Serve as staff liaison to the Youth Committee.

Work effectively with all ministerial staff to accomplish the objectives of the Church.

Participate in the worship services and outreach programs of the Church as assigned.

Participate in guest follow-up, outreach, and hospital visitation.

Develop healthy relationships with parents and guardians of all youth, providing communication about all programming and resources for them to assist in their growth as Christian parents and to counsel with them when needed.

Participate in an annual performance evaluation of self and each supervisee on the Church staff.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

CBFVA partners with Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s LeaderConnect ( to help place vocational ministers (senior pastors, associate pastors, youth pastors, children’s pastors, and other staff ministers) in Virginia churches.
