Theological Education Partnerships in Virginia
CBFVA is committed to sound theological education for women and men seeking seminary education in the Commonwealth. We enjoyed a symbiotic relationship with Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond until it closed, and now we partner with two seminaries to train the next generation of ministers and servants. Starting in fall of 2021, we offer a residential experience and an innovative in-place learning option.
Baptist House of Studies at Union Presbyterian Seminary
Union Presbyterian Seminary equips Christian leaders for ministry in the world — a sacred vocation that requires deep learning, commitment to service, and an ability to read culture and circumstance in the light of the rich resources of Scripture and theological tradition. The Baptist House of Studies offers a Certificate in Baptist Studies in a traditional residential setting in Richmond. Full tuition scholarships are available. In-Place Learning through Baptist Seminary at Kentucky
